I've got 2 computers running Windows XP, can anyone please tell me if I buy a Windows Vista Basic upgrade, will I be able to install it on both computers?

I believe the upgrade is licensed for only one PC, You will need to buy a copy for each.

No. The activation key dies if you install it on more than one machine. This makes the machine unusable, and also your original cd, so it will not even recover the first pc it loaded to.
Probably not. Bill Gates dropped a hundred dollar bill last week, and couldn't find it. He really needs it back. You should buy another copy.
