if you want to fix computers, then a career in tech support would be good. You could get a diploma or degree in 'information technology'. I cant recommend any schools, cos i can tell by the fact u say 'grade 11', we live in diff countries :-)

but with tech support usually u start of as level 1 tech support, perhaps troubleshooting over the phone, then with more experience u can move level2/3 tech support where u no longer have to troubleshoot over the phone.

Also u could help family and friends with their pc problems for experience, and even advertise ur service in a local paper and charge a fee whenur good at what u do.

You don't need a degree to fix relatively simple problems like those; experience alone will suffice (many elementary school kids can do such!).

However, you won't make much of a living, and, certainly, not have a good paying job, if that's all you can do!

Any good tech school or college will work, but I'm a little concerned about your grades. A 74 average doesn't cut it in virtually any "white collar" business requiring a college degree (BTW, a 74 average won't cut it for most colleges, either!). Consider going to a 2-year, liberal arts, community college, which offers certificate programs in computer repair and the like. With that under your belt, you should be able to get into any bachelorate or tech program for a computer major; you could also use it to find a half-way decent job.

Regardless, you shouldn't set your sights so low. Improve your grades while you can, and reach for the stars, not the ant hills! ;)
