How do I hook two computers together that has only 1 phone line. we can only go on one at a time.?

My boyfriend and I each have are own computer,when one of us visit the enternet the other can only watch.I would like to know how do we put both of our computers on line at the same time.we are only working with one phone line coming into the house.we both are conected to a phone jack but we want to be able to play pool against each other.what wires if any do we use.mabye you can make a picture of drifferent ways to set up networking.thank you.........

you dont need 2 phonelines at all you can run many pcs of 1 router that has wireless in it

1 router with .wireless acess in it set that up on frist pc by ethernet cabel . then enter route settings an set up wireless network id with security key for ur other pc newwork id can be anythingthing with numbers . then when that is done go to the other pc you can use a . wireless usb adapter for that install the network drivers for the usb adapter half way in to .da install it will ask you to connect .da wireless usb adapter do that and thewn that is installed then hit on the weirelss usb adapter icon in the taskbar by ur pc time put in ur network id with secirty key . that u ser up on router . then hit Apply %26 ok .then that pc is online
