What if ive lost my computers password for my WEP settings?

I need to get my computers WEP.

but i dont know my password.

is there any way to change it? or find it without knowing it?

this is my grandmas computer and my aunt set it up for her.

and my grandma has no idea what the password is.

any suggestions?

Since your saying WEP I'm assuming you're trying to access a wireless access point / router. On the router there will be a small reset button. Hold it down for a few seconds and then your WEP settings will be gone. You will have to set the WEP and other features up again though.

well if you still have the disk delete it . I mean uninstall it and then reinstall it. that should work.

It would be easier if I walked you through it on instant messenger if that is okay with you.
Do you have the instruction book for setting up the router? If you do then find the pin hole on the router and push it in. This will reset everything to how it was when it came out of the box. From there follow the setup instructions and when you create a password make it something that you will remember.
