How do I boot all my network computers from an image?

In internet cafe's, how do they get all the computers to boot from what seems like an image stored on a network server, or something, so that everytime the computer is restarted/shutdown and booted up again, it has all the original desktop icons in the same place, with all the same programs installed, and access to all the same network shares, etc etc etc, and if you put anything into the C: or anything like that, it is cleared out when the computer is restarted?

they use special kind of Roaming profiles that will discard all changes at every restart/shutdown
There are a few ways to do this, the most common is to image the drive using something like Norton Ghost. Once you have an image of the drive, you simply restore the image on bootup. This will overwrite any changes that were made and returns the computer to its state when it was imaged.
