And you have a motherboard that supports say Intel Dual Core processors like the 820D?

Possibly, if the processor socket has the correct number of pins and the manufacturer provides a BIOS upgrade to allow the use of Core Duo processors.

i have never heard of dual core2 but hey you learn something new everyday!

i doubt you can upgrade as the CPU may have a different number of pins to the CPU you already have. if the pin number is different then you will need a new motherboard that supports that CPU.
Good question but I doubt it,I guess the only way to up grade it is a new mother board,cpu and Ram, if it fits into your case. The only reason I say this is from other poeple talking anout the new dual core2.
They can if the motherboard supports the voltage settings for the new core2 duo proc. I wouldn't recomend it unless you know the motherboard vendor.
