College and computers...?

ya, i just bought a macbook a month ago, and i will be starting college around fall. so should i go ahead and buy a mac mini for the dorm to use for fun (myspace, yahoo, etc..) and have the macbook JUST FOR school work?

Or should i just buy an external hard drive and use it and my macbook for school %26 fun and not get a mac mini??

p.s. i prefer macs. dont answer and say you think windows computers are better, when you know vista is crap.

The Macbook is all you need. Just make sure to back up your important files in case something goes wrong with your computer. Get a big thumb drive (4G or so). It will be big enough to back up or transport all of your important documents and assignments to any other computer. Good luck with school.

I'd go with the 2nd option.....not only can you easily transfer/share files with an external....it also acts as a backup. And yes.....Vista is crap.

lol, but I wouldn't go buy an entirely new computer just to screw around on the internet with. If you want to download a whole mess of stuff then sure go ahead and buy an external HDD, but otherwise don't buy a whole new computer, save your money, you're a student.
