I have built and worked on computers for many years, but every time I come across a DELL, there are a lot of "tips and tricks" to get one to work.
These diagnostics lights, on the back, are useless, because the green/yellow combinations that I get are never listed on any of the DELL charts.
Are DELL computers designed to be difficult to troubleshoot?anti virus software
DELL's are cheap and useless. The only thing that makes them sell is the fact that they are cheap. They are also very unreliable. But built to be hard to troublshoot? This might be going a little overboard, however it's possible.
Are DELL computers designed to be difficult to troubleshoot?aurora
yes because they want you to pay to call them for help.
its because their made so cheap i work on my dell at home and at the office almost everyday HP is a better computer
and easier to troubleshoot
yes they are horrible i am getting a mac for my next computer
nope . dell computers are perfect mates
I like their troubleshooting utilities that are built in. When you press power and press FN after it brings up all these self tests. I use it at work. It helps.
I don't feel that Dell computers are any more difficult to troubleshoot than any other. I've had much worse experiences talking to HP/Compaq for support than I have with Dell.
As for the diagnostic lights, they were listed in the user's manual that I received with my old Dell PC when it was purchased.
No, There cheap systems... Nothing wrong with that... You get what you pay for... Walmart Now sells The dells. Its our fault. The pay low expect the the best....... Does not work that way..
