Your two computers have LAN cards already installed, so there are two ways for you to do this.

The Hard Way:

-Connect a Crossover Cable between the two computers

-Set the IP Address for Computer #1 to 192.168.0.100 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

-Set the IP Address for Computer #2 to 192.168.0.110 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

-Make Sure the two computers have unique names

-Set the Workgroup name on the two computer to the exact same name

-Place the two IP addresses above in the trusted zone of your two computers firewall programs

-Enable file and printer sharing on the two computers
