I have two PC's One is a old pentium 2 MMX, The other is my amd 1500 laptop. I currently have them networked with a crossover cable. However, I want to set up the older one so I have complete access to every thing on it, from the laptop. Networking only allows sharing of folders. I want complete access to everything..
Basicly I want to be able to set up the older computer with all my spyware, and other programs, to scan the laptop, instead of having my laptop scan. I also want to have access to everything on both computers.. A free access, If I could get the computers to show up as a drive letter.. Does anyone know how to do this?
Can I use remote access between two computers, that are networked with a crossover cable?microsoft office
You didn't mention what operating systems you're using (most important detail)! Yes you can but if you don't have XP installed then "Remote Access" is not built in. The easiest thing to do would be to download and use VNC.

I'd just recommend VNC, like UltraVNC or other similar remote access programs.
why u just gonna Remote access use third party tool like radmin or vnc
of course you can.
If the network is set up properly... doesn't matter if it's across the room or across the globe.
yes, you only need a program to manage the computer try this page http://www.spyanywhere.com/features.shtm...
If you are using XP just use Remote Desktop, its free and gives complete access.
